A crucial step in our preparation process has been accomplished with the completion of mandatory RYA courses, which include Marina Radio (SRC), Essential Navigation Seamanship Skills, Sea Survival, First Aid, and the Ocean Rowing Course from Atlantic Campaigns.
Atlantic Arrow would like to thank Tim, Sue, and Charlie from Seasports Southwest, who shared their extensive knowledge and passion with the team.
Thanks is also extended to Fraser from Atlantic Campaigns for the vast information on the race expectations, from the preparation phase to the arrival in Antigua, and everything in between.
The rowers of Atlantic Arrow are better prepared for the challenge ahead – let’s just hope the survival skills are never actually needed.
